Cape Town · West Coast · Western Cape
Purpose-built roll-on/roll-off skip logistics for mining waste, contaminated material, asbestos waste and regulated industrial loads—planned around the classification, special-waste approval and disposal route your site requires.
Operated by the City-accredited Peninsula Oil Separation waste-services team
Not household skip hire
When the contents are contaminated, hazardous or subject to special disposal requirements, the skip is only one part of the job.
West Coast Skips helps mines, contractors and industrial operators plan the container, transport and approved disposal route before anything leaves site. That means the right questions are asked early—and your team gets a practical collection plan instead of a generic bin drop.

Every quote starts with waste type, site location, estimated volume and available classification or safety information.

Discuss your waste streamSkip transport and disposal coordination for asbestos waste correctly prepared by a registered asbestos contractor, subject to packaging, classification and facility requirements.
Plan a collectionControlled skip services for manufacturing, maintenance and project waste that cannot enter a standard builders' rubble or general-waste stream.
Check acceptancePlanned container rotations for remediation, demolition and shutdown work where separation and an auditable disposal trail matter.
Scope your projectImportant: acceptance is confirmed per load. Liquid waste, unclassified material and unsupported hazardous loads cannot be placed in a skip without prior approval.

Practical site logistics
Our truck can carry a skip on the hook-lift body and tow a second skip on a purpose-built trailer. For remote, high-volume or time-sensitive sites, that gives your team more collection capacity per movement.
From site to approved facility
We confirm what is being moved before the skip arrives, then plan the collection and disposal documentation around the approved waste route.
Send the waste type, photos, site location, expected volume and any classification or safety documents.
We assess skip suitability, access, packaging needs and the permit or facility requirements that apply.
We deliver to an agreed hardstand so your authorised site team can load safely and keep waste separated.
We collect on request or schedule, transport to the approved destination and provide applicable disposal records.
Compliance before convenience
Commercial hazardous waste may require classification, WIR/IPWIS registration, testing and a City of Cape Town special-waste permit before an approved facility can accept it. We confirm the applicable route and load approval before collection—not after the skip is full.
Before you book
No. Waste must be described and accepted before delivery. Classification, packaging, moisture, contamination and the approved disposal facility can all affect whether a skip is suitable.
West Coast Skips provides the skip logistics and disposal coordination for correctly prepared asbestos waste. Identification, abatement and removal must be handled by appropriately registered asbestos professionals under the current Asbestos Abatement Regulations.
